RADIATION FROM FUZZBALLS
A family of
nonextremal geometries was constructed by Jejjala et al,
with `capped throats' similar to those found for microstates of extremal
black hole states.
It was shown by Cardosso et al that these geometries
are unstable,
and the complex frequency of decay was computed. We show
that the decay
energy levels and decay rate are exactly the ones expected
for the
`Hawking radiation' from this specific microstate. To do this we start
with the gravity calculation of Hawking radiation. We then go to the
dual CFT
computation, where we replace the bose and fermi distributions
present in
generic CFT states with the specific `laser like' state
excitations corresponding
to this specific geometry. The emission
properties from the CFT state then
exactly match the instability found
for the classical geometry.
