 TACHYON CONDENSATION AND "NON-BPS"
D-BRANES IN A RAMOND-RAMOND
PLANE WAVE BACKGROUND

   ABSTRACT

We argue to put forward a claim that the world-volume theory on
a coincident brane-anti-brane system in a type IIB Ramond-Ramond
plane wave background admits the same tachyon potential as in
flat background. This implies that all the D-barnes, in particular
the non-BPS D-branes, of flat background should have plane wave
analogues. We propose the open string theories for such D-branes
in plane wave background using light-cone Green-Schwarz formalism.
