[5978] The first house in Ferrisburg was owned by Abel Thompson who then sold it to Daniel, son of John Marsh. One source says that Daniel was a Congregational minister. However, I question that this Daniel was the son of John. I believe that he was the son of Joseph, Sr. since Joseph had other children living in this town. I believe John's son lived in Vergennes where John and some of his children lived. Daniel of Vergennes may have been a lawyer.
