Research in the condensed matter group at the University of Kentucky covers a wide range of experimental and theoretical work, with a focus on the unusual manifestations of quantum physics in novel materials. Topics studied here include, e.g., synthesis and study of complex materials, the quantum Hall effect and mesoscopic physics.
