Getting to Lexington

By Air

Lexington's Bluegrass airport (LEX) is the nearest airport - it is approximately 12 km from the conference venue. LEX is serviced by several major airlines, including American Eagle, Continental Express, Delta Air Lines, Northwest Airlink, United Express, and US Airways.

Larger airports are in Louisville, Kentucky (SDF, approximately 120 km), and Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky (CVG, approximately 130 km). There are direct flights to Europe from CVG.

Easy car rental is available at all three of these airports.

By Car

Campus Housing

Reservations for campus housing must be received by 8 July. On-campus accommodations are in our air-conditioned residence halls. Rooms can be reserved as single or double occupancy. Two adjoining rooms share one bath. They typically have two twin beds, two desks, two chairs, chest of drawers and a trash can. They do not have activated phone lines. Ethernet (not wi-fi) is included. Please note that ALL CAMPUS HOUSING BUILDINGS ARE NON-SMOKING FACILITIES, and that THE USE OF ALCOHOL IS NOT ALLOWED ON CAMPUS.

Private room, shared bath
$44/night (+ taxes).

Shared room, shared bath
$27/night/person (+ taxes). Same housing as above, with two persons in one room.

Conference Parking

Attendees wishing to drive to the conference venue can park in the visitor parking lot adjacent to the W. T. Young Library (the lot is off Hilltop Avenue - click here for a map). The cost of parking is $5 per day.
