RESEARCH

          Lattice Calculations of Glueball Matrix Elements
 
          The main objective of my research is to compute all SU(3) Glueball Matrix
          Elements, and compare with possible experimental predictions. One of the
          outcomes of this research will be the enhancement of Glueball Spectrum
          measured by Morningstar and Peardon in 1997. An extensive set of gauge
          configurations are produced via a Markov chain and measurements on each
          of these configurations are analyzed for spectrum and matrix elements.
          I developed a code to generate such configurations as well as to analyze
          the measurements statistically.

          Its subprojects include but not limited to:

• Development of a package management utility, "pkg", built over RCS (Unix versioning utility).
• Development of portable and modular coding techniques.
• Development of abstract Fortran90, "a90" programming language and Perlscript compiler for a90.
• Development and utilization of object oriented programming techniques with Fortran90 and Fortran95 for reusability of scientific codes.
• Research on sparse matrix computations and development of fast sparse matrix inversion technique.
