• 2008-02-04:  Exam 1 will cover sections 3-1 to 5-2, inclusive.  Sections 5-3 to 5-7 will be covered in the second exam, after homework has been done in these sections.  Study questions for Exam #1: (pdf).  A formula sheet will be provided, consisting of fundmental constants and useful combinations, and the summary table at the end of chapters 3, 4, and 5.
• 2008-02-13:  Exam 1 (pdf) was returned in class.  Students may turn in a corrected version of their exam by Monday, Feb 18, to receive up to a maximum of 20 bonus points.
• 2008-02-25:  Exam 2 on March 6, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm (2-hours) will cover sections 5-3 to 7-3 inclusive.  A formula sheet will be provided, and a practice exam will be posted online one week before the exam.
