• 6/19/97 -- design drawings for the single lead glass detector given to machinists for construction.
• 6/19/97 -- fabrication of an extra aperature scintillator
• 6/19/97 -- Hank finished gluing the scintillators to the light guides.
• 5/24/97 -- Dr. Dale, Ashot and Jimmie head ot TJNAF to work on the DAQ and install the hodoscopes. We had 4 of the 28 hodoscope detectors ready to go for this trip. The boxes for the hodoscopes were finished before Dr. Dale left for Virginia.
• 5/22/97 -- Hank, Kirsten and Dr Dale begin work on the fabrication of the hodoscope boxes.
• 5/21/97 -- Light guides fabricated at UK. The current plan is to have the light guides designed to allow us to stagger the PMTs since the PMTs are too large to fit side by side. The light guides will all be the same total length, with one side longer than the other. We will alternate which side is connected to the hodoscope scintillator.
• 5/97 -- Scintillators cut and polished at UK
• 5/13/97 -- Installation of lead glass and lead glass PMTs into the beamline at TJNAF (CEBAF). We decided to go with the Hamamatsu PMTs instead of the PMTs supplied by Kharkov. We also decided to keep the support box the lead glass arrived in from Kharkov. We did modify it slightly, and attempted to make it as light tight as possible. Almost all of this was done in a weekend! That has to be a record of some kind! And, it works!!
• 5/97 -- Detector shielding box being fabricated at TJNAF and UK. The shielding box will include a table inside for movement of the detector.
• 5/97 -- Jimmie Mayfield is finishing up the software.
