We (AG and DSD) had a meeting with Al Guerra.
*We need to get Al drawings of the quads and dipole.
*May want to use standard cartridges on dipole.
*Support structure should be built at CEBAF.
* Schedule:
two months from finish of design to complete job (construction, installation,
alignment).
Freeze design third week of June, then need 60 days.
*10 kW for each quad, dipole power 120kW (300 V, 400 Amps). LCW from Hall A side.
*500 MCM cable needed for magnet power supplies, $5-10 per foot.
*Quad supplies in the Hall.
*Dipole power supplies maybe in Building 98, ``the Chalet''.
*Quads need klixons interlocked with power supplies.
*May want to support collimator box, etc from dipole support stand.
