Hi,
Just thought I'd let people know we have had a good
deal of success with the Moller commissioning. We have
good agreement in our measurement of the beam polarization
between the Hall A Moller, Hall C Moller, and the 5 MeV
Mott in the acelerator. Last weekend we did the "spin dance"
where we varied the launch angle (direction of the polarization
at injection) and simultaneously measured the longitudinal
components of the polarization in Hall A and C. It looks nice,
and we showed that we have longitudinal in the hall when the
accelerator people predict we should. More commiossioning is
underway.

I was just hired by Keane Inc and will be leaving for Boston Sept 7. This is my last day with the Moller Group. I just wanted everyone to know that I really enjoyed working with the group, and that I learned more through my research with you guys than I probably did in my classes! *grin*

I'll miss you guys a bunch!!

Keep in touch!

Kirsten
