Academic Record: Research work towards Ph.D. degree in Theoretical Physics
at the University of Kentucky (approximate date of completion first half
of 1998). Field of specializitaion -- Lattice Gauge Theory with strong
background in Numerical Methods and Software Engineering. Research work towards M.S. degree in physics with specialization
in Meteorology at Sofia University - Bulgaria. Study towards BS degree in physics at Sofia University
- Bulgaria; finished with Honor class. Honors and Societies: Work Experience: Research Assistant at the Department of Physics and Astronomy,
University of Kentucky - specializing in lattice gauge calculations in
quantum field theory. Experience with various numerical techniques including
Monte Carlo methods, Wavelets and Spectral Decomposition. Work in computational
fluid dynamics. Recent work involve ``The Package System'' -- an
object oriented design for Lattice Gauge Calculations. Teaching Assistant at the Department of Physics and Astronomy,
University of Kentucky - teaching recitation of PHY 231-232 (General University
Physics for Scientists and Engineers) Research Associate at the Department of Dynamics of the
Atmosphere -- Geophysical Instutute/Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. Developed
a hydrodynamical code in FORTRAN for short-term weather prediction. Worked
on IBM 4381 mainframe. Experience with various numerical techniques for
solving systems of partial and ordinary differential equations, as well
as spectral methods for eigenvalue problems. Research Associate at the Department of Radar and Laser
Location of the Environment -- Institute of Electronics/Bulgarian Academy
of Sciences. Worked involved spectral analysis and modeling of digitized
time-series from radar and laser imaging. Statistical Techniques for improving
Signal/Noise ratio were the focal point of this research. Experience in
electromagnetic wave propagation in random and turbulent media with emphasis
on the Earth's atmosphere. Computer Skills: Software Development Experience: Scientific Software Projects: Other Relevant Experience: Conferences, Schools and Workshop Attended:
