Revitalization of an (e,2e) Spectrometer

The (e,2e) spectrometer obtained from the University of Southampton has been significantly modified to enable us to carry out high resolution measurements on the helium 2l2l' autoionizing levels. I will discuss the reasons for doing this experiment, describe the overall design of the spectrometer pointing out improvements we have made, mention a few of the unanticipated but interesting phenomena encountered along the way, present the latest results, and consider further avenues to explore in this ongoing journey.
