Story of two photons continued: the e838 experiment

Between December 1998 and June 1999, we concluded the experiment e838 to measure the rare two photon decay mode of Pionic Hydrogen. I shall describe the motivation behind the experiment, the experiment itself, talk about the analysis of data, and mention a few recent developments based on our experiment that makes this work all the more interesting.
