Professor Vitaly L. Ginzburg -- one of the most prominent figures in 20th century science and a member of numerous National Academies of Sciences, will be in residence at the Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of Kentucky, between March 3 and May 2, 1997. In order to make his visit beneficial to a broad group of scientists at the University of Kentucky and other academic institutions in the region, we would like to provide information as early as possible to interested persons and groups.

At UK, Prof. Ginzburg will give two colloquia and two topical seminars (Chem/Phys bldg. on Rose st.), with a tentative schedule:
