POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN THEORETICAL COMPUTATIONAL ASTROPHYSICS
Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in Theoretical Computational Astrophysics at the Department of Earth and Space Science, Graduate School of Science, Osaka University, Japan. The candidate must have a Ph.D. or equivalent in related fields, but the capability of communicating in Japanese is not required.

This position is located at the Theoretical Astrophysics Group of Osaka University to work with Prof. Kentaro Nagamine (Osaka Univ., Japan) and Prof. Isaac Shlosman (Univ. of Kentucky, USA) on the topic of formation and evolution of supermassive black holes. This project is computationally-intensive.

The starting date for this position is negotiable, but can be as early as April 1, 2016. Appointment is for one year, with renewals for a second and third years, contingent upon satisfactory progress and availability of funding. The salary is about 5,500,000 JPY (~50,000 USD), and health benefits are provided.
