Who we are
The UK SPS chapter is a professional and social organization for Physics majors, minors and those with a general interest in physics. We organize events such as Cosmic Lunches, Movie Nights, and group trips to promote interest in physics and cohesion among undergraduate physics students at UK.

The UK SPS and Physics and Astronomy Department is held it's first annual open lab day on April 8th, 2011. Physics students from across the state were invited to come to UK, tour the laboratory facilities, meet the professors and their fellow physics students in the area. After a successful first event the SPS is planning another Lab Day in Spring 2012. Details are still being determined.
