Welcome to the University of Kentucky SPS Home Page
The Society of
Physics Students is a professional physics association especially designed for
students. Our chapter is dedicated to providing social and academic stimulation
toany student that expresses any interest whatsoever in physics or astronomy. Are you a current or prospective physics major? Join SPS, and do something outside of class besides physics with your fellow majors. Even if you've never taken a college physics class, if you find something about physics or the way things work fascinating, then SPS is for you.

Current students
As an active chapter we do have activities we would
like those expressing an interest in physics to attend. Some of them are listed
below.
SPS Room, Located at Room 352 of the Chem Phys building.
Dues for SPS are $5. This gets you a years membership in SPS as well as a key to the SPS room. See an officer for more information.
