Instructions for: Periscope/Retroscope

These two devices use mirrors to reroute the path of normal light.  The Periscope allows students to see from a perspective above, below, or beside their natural view, depending on the placement of the device.  The Retroscope shows them what is behind them.

Questions for Students / Items of Interest:

Q1)  When you hold either device with its axis vertically, you see a normal view through it.   You also see a normal view with the axis horizontally.   But what happens if the axis is at some funny angle?
