 Hi Isaac,

  I have installed gimp 1.0 . You can resize
 animated gifs. First type "rehash" to rescan
 your path. Then type "gimp" .

  Open the file and choose --> image--> scale.

 If you want to see the animation choose "filter",
 then "animate".
