The thermal sensing sheet is a kind of thermometer, but how do we read it? What is the temperature when the sheet is green? Let's find out!

Assemble these materials:

• Small strips (5 mm = 1/4" wide) of the thermal sensing sheets (there are two temperature ranges) *
• A thermometer *
• Clear plastic cup *
• pipette *
• warm water and cool water. The warm water doesn't have to be very hot, and the cool water can come straight from the faucet.

Please note that you will want some big pieces of the thermal sensing sheet later -- so leave most of the squares intact. Also note the recommendations on taking care of the thermal sensing sheet.
