Group Postdoctoral Position in Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics

The Department of Physics & Astronomy at the University of Kentucky invites applications for a postdoctoral position in theoretical condensed matter physics starting in Lexington, KY in the Fall of 2011. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in condensed matter physics. The chosen candidate will work under the supervision of Profs. Ganpathy Murthy and Ribhu Kaul. The area of research is quantum condensed matter physics broadly defined, including quantum magnetism, quantum Hall effect, graphene, complex materials, numerical approaches to lattice models and field theory. UKY has a very active condensed matter group and interaction with other members of our group and other faculty will be strongly encouraged.
