What does the Excited Baryon Analysis Center at JLab hope to get from LQCD ?

Extensive and precise meson photo- and electro-production data from Jefferson Laboratory and several other laboratories around the world have now become available for extracting the baryon resonance N* parameters which are important for understanding the non-perturbative aspects of QCD. In parallel, a lot of progress has also been made in developing reaction models for analyzing and interpreting these data. Attempts have been made to apply Lattice QCD calculations to interpret the N-(1232) transition form factors exctracted from pion electroproduction data. To enhance this effort, the Excited Baryon Analysis Center (EBAC) was established at JLab in January, 2006, and has now started to obtain results and provide theoretical help to data analyses. In this talk, I would like to discuss how EBAC can work with LQCD groups to make further progress.
